The IPCC AR4 Synthesis Report provides an integrated view of climate change.

It is a must read, the summary is quite short but shows the effects of climate change and what scenarios are likely to happen. It shows that we must take action sooner rather than later, and that the consequences of our current lifestyle will be disastrous if continued.

Warming of the climate system is unequivocal, as is now evident from observations of increases in global average air and ocean temperatures, widespread melting of snow and ice and rising global average sea level.
