Demands

If we demand reasonable things from our governments, and we are enough people raising our voice, we can make great things happen!

Demand from your government

  • Make a plan for completely transitioning from an oil/coal/gas-based society to a renewable energy society within 50 years
We will run out of oil, coal and gas, that's a fact. If we begin the transition too late when resources are scarce we will have to build our power plants by hand, and that's a really tough job. The sooner we start the transition, the better!
  • Make it easy for local communities to connect their electric generation capacity to the grid
Producing energy by renewable means requires more people than centrally produced energy. That means more jobs! Distributed electricity generation also dramatically reduces the risk of power outage, may it be from natural disasters, human error or terrorist attacks. It's a safer way of living for ourselves. If local communities can produce their own power, it will speed up the transition process.
  • Ban selling of new gasoline/diesel cars
